What is age? What does it mean? If one really thinks about it, is it nothing more than a bunch of numbers explaining how many days you have lived? Why does it have to be so limiting? Society sets an age limit on everything. They summarize the world as one, everyone being alike, when we really are each so completely different. We experience ( Read more... )

you do not need time for wisdom.
ask, and God will give it (though the path through which he delivers it is not always fun...)
a 12 year old can have more wisdom than a 52 year old

yes i completely agree. God brings experience when one is ready and when one has asked for it, who is society to judge what age or year someone is ready to experience something or not?

in fact, i was just thinking about this.
Jesus was teaching in the temple when he was only like 11 or 12. yes, He is in a way a special example... but anyone can have wisdom if they truly want it
God will send it
people just have to learn to accept it

well however unfair it is, you can't change it. it's a stereotype and society has created stereotypes because that's what it is; a generalization of the actions and reactions to circumstances of the people who are the same age as you. think about it... you, ally, are very mature and down to earth, but for every 15 year old that is mature, there are three thousand 15 year olds that have shit for brains and make dumb decisions. society can't pick out those who are special and make exceptions for them, so they group all the 15 year olds into the category of "insatiable lust for stupidity" and place limitations on their freedom accordingly. you're just going to have to wait until you're older and are recognized as a smart person like everyone else. oh well.

That is very true. I do have to wait and i understand that I have to wait, but it is just annoying sometimes. Most of the time it doesn't bother me, but last night it really was. People think that because I am fifteen, I can't have experienced something and I can't understand a certain thing, because that it supposedly too young of an age. blah.

I have missed you Nate. We need to hang out and watch Princess Bride ;-) I miss Leeann too. She needs to come if you are still together, I don't really know. I hope you are.
