I love sharing the Meryl love, honestly I didn't even think for a second that this night wasn't going straight to Livejournal! I'm glad to share it with you guys :)

She was so great and I actually wasn't terrified to talk to her because she's was so nice and gracious and totally down to earth. Like you said, completely charming and funny.

you have no idea how many inane, ridiculous questions I thought to ask before I thought about trying to actually sound composed. It was really hard to pick one, but actually not as hard to ask it as I thought it would be. She's just such a great person and really easy to talk to.

speaking of don, because who doesn't love to honestly? :) She said that he kissed Michelle Obama THREE times and "at the second kiss I KNEW he was going in for that third! And he wasn't even in the movie!"

I've got 2 question I really want to ask her but in the 2 times that I've met her I've not really been able to speak much...I just kind of stuttered and stared at her gorgeous face in awe! Haha, although I did show her my Strummer tshirt and she screamed in delight...so that's something!

haha Don is the man! they're so cute together :) I love the Stummer tshirt story!! And believe me, most of the night if she wasn't the one speaking, I didn't hear one word of what was going on. The woman is gorgeous. I want to look that hot at 60!

ooh a podcast? cool! I think they might be putting video of it up somewhere but I have no idea where or when. I'm just excited to actually listen really well a second time, it's sort of hard to concentrate when Meryl is sitting feet away from you!

I can't even believe the luck, to be honest. Usually I wouldn't have the nerve to do anything like that! There's just something about Meryl that makes it easier to talk in front of a huge room of people :)

I'm still sort of processing the fact that I actually spoke to her. It's really strange, but really awesome! Thanks for the compliment on my blogging skills, I pretty much revised that to death. Every time I posted it I remembered something else and went back to edit :) I'm still not satisfied -- I wish I could remember more of it all!
