I got a new job! Same place of work, different position. I am now working full-time for the first time since having Ayla, as the Housing Intake Specialist. Funny, since I know very little about housing or intakes. You could hardly call me a "specialist". Luckily, I already worked at the place so they knew how awesome I was and that I would figure

ha, we're in the middle of a massive heat wave. and bonny doon is on fire, they even started getting people out of campus, where i am, right now.

Congratulations on the promotion!! That sounds like a super-intense (but absolutely necessary) and rewarding position (and if you were to re-apply to grad school now, those fuckers would be desperate to admit you-- though they should have been desperate anyway!).

That sucks that the weather there is terrible. Maybe if you just stop recycling and get a big truck and start smoking and eating Big Macs or something, you can do your part to encourage the, uh, "warming" in your area. Washingtonians (is that a terms that people there use?)could even progressively band together to encourage "positive" climate change for their area by filling the landfills with "joy" and releasing more "love" into the air and embracing the sure-to-follow sunshine.

Or maybe I just have too much time on my hands this morning.
