Did you have to bribe her with candy?

We were getting desparate and were considering anything. We tried bribing with candy, and since she's had maybe 7 pieces her whole life I thought it would work, but no. We tried pushing and insisting, we tried ignoring completely, we tried all kinds of tricks. Nothing. Then, before she started at her new preschool, we told her the kids at school are big kids and most of them wear big kids underwear and use the potty. Did she want to wear her pull-ups or try her big girl panties (I know, sounds weird!)? She said panties. She's hasn't had one accident since (except one on the floor at home and I think she was just being lazy).
I love it!
