Someone do me a favor and find a copy of George Meredith's Lines to a Friend Visiting America. Read it over a few times. It's quite good! Is that bit about Wordsworth? Northern? Hmm ( Read more... )

Hard book too find, you should check out Franz Kafka's Meditation short stories, pretty good, and shut up.

My great grandmother's second marriage was to a man 27 years her junior. She told my grandmother those years were the "happiest of her life".
