Top 5 “Secret Ingredients”

Admittedly, I’m a bit of a food snob. I like my eggs, chicken, beef, and pork from the farm down the road (all natural and pastured, thank you very much) and we make a lot of our meals from scratch. Many of our veggies (and some fruits) come from the backyard or a different local farm up the road.

I am all about fish sauce, preserved lemons and other such odd things.

Fish sauce is pretty awesome - but I really wish they sold it in little packets like ketchup or salad dressing. I can never go through a whole bottle before it goes bad...

...at least, I *think* it's bad. Hard to tell with fish sauce.
