More questions about the unknown figure I posted about almost a year ago! I came across an auction for it again, only this time, there's another figure with it... Rai! And... possibly Asato, as well?

Heya, sorry this is late, but I was the person who bid on and purchased this set and I recently received them, so hopefully I can give you more info.

The big Konoe and Rai are Pinky Street mods just like the one you have. The way it works is that the modder will make an original sculpt, then make a cast based off of that and pour resin garage kits into those casts, making a (usually limited) run of custom kits to be sold at events and such. Konoe was one and Rai was another, but I never found out if there was an Asato in the set as well.

The smaller ones are a set of three (Asato, Rai, and Konoe) called, if I read correctly, "Costume figures". Same deal as before, though I'm not sure what kind of figure they're based off of, if any. The TnC strap is another resin custom, painted by the modder themselves, and is not an official N+C product.

Ahh, I was wondering if someone from this community had won them... I was going to bid, but the auction completely slipped my mind with the CHiRAL Note there too. x__x I'm glad you got them, though!

Oh I see! Wow *_* I didn't even realize there were two different sets of figures in the picture; I thought they were all the bigger ones like Konoe. I didn't even really think about the possibility of just casting and producing a run of modded figures... welp. XD; Wow.

Thanks for all the info! Hopefully more will pop up for auction some day and I /won't/ forget to bid on them, haha. Have you by chance taken any pictures of any of them? I'd love to get a closer look at Rai/the extra tote+mask/the "costume figures" if it's not too much trouble!

I could tell from the pic that one was smaller than the other, it was too small to be a Pinky. But yeah, that's what they are! It seems like Konoe is the best-cast out of all of them, with the least flash (extra material that results from pouring it in the mold) and practically no bubbles in the plastic. The others ones are definitely worse off, which means more clean-up work before assembly, augh...

They were sold in 2010 so they're still relatively recent and there's a chance more will pop up. I did take photos of the figures! Here are the figures on my tumblr. And here's the eco tote and the mask!

It seems I am incredibly unobservant to staggering amounts, haha XD; I'm a complete stranger to models that you put together, but I hope it isn't too difficult and that you can get them cleaned up and assembled well!

Ahhh~ Thanks for the info and pictures. I'm hoping another set will pop up; even if they aren't "official" per se, they're still pretty neat-looking. The small ones are so cute! ;w; The tote is really awesome, as well. Thanks again! <3
