I'm not friends with my ex. Too weird I guess: the whole 'break up' idea. It makes it a little hard to have equality; the breaker upper being the superior and the breakee uppee the inferior. My ex enjoys the thought of chasing other boys; all of my ex's actually; perhaps that is the mindset of most people who date: to leap from person to person; to ignore a communion of mind and spirit and commitment. I blame television.
being friends after breaking up is overrated. especially being friends right after breaking up, its also akward. you feel like you can still do all the same things, and like nothings changed but everything has changed. You'll still have the feeling to hold hands, or lean over and kiss them but you can't now because you're just friends. Its hard to turn off those feelings.
fuck break ups indeed. they're nothing but trouble. if it makes you feel better im' going through the same thing here. i'm there for you if you need me.

ahh but a year seems like commitment. see i guess my error was not believing that breaking up was much more of a commitment.
