Ninteviews, ninterviews, more ninterviews... Ok, I haven't had one yet, but I have dates, and they are close, and I am scared. I'm also pissed off, as Oxford's are a week later than they originally said they'd be - and I have one also in Oxford the week before, and cannot afford two separate trips, thus am off to stay with Grandmama for a week in ( Read more... )

Well, flower, I hope you shall be imposing yourself on my floor at some point? Not that I can really compete with granny comforts ^_^; Approx dates would be appreciated generally, so I can bosh at my work in advance/not make binding comittments to other things such as birthday parties.

I *might* need to stay with you night of 29th March (is a thursday), depending upon timings of interviews/ if you are there etc... if you aren't I can always make use of more relatives, I'm sure. Will let you know when Oxford have got back to me, which should be some time tomorrow.

I'm a bit confused about what's actually likely to be happening? Could you give me a call one evening after 5 - not Wednesday - this week? I really need to plan marking etc. but if its just a flying visit or if you're not likely to be a staying, obviously, it would be a waste of time to work a lot of time free! I appreciate you're waiting to hear what's going on re interviews, but if you could let me know what you know...

and i'm looking forward to seeing you, so we cvan bitch at the poor quality of published kids books - bad writing, crap images etc, and also to squink in the general direction of young publishing nobby types, annoying teachers, and maybe to kill off some of the librarians with well placed knitting needles! .... oh and free stuff, RAH!
