Ah snow, how I have missed thee. It's nice to be back in Maine after nearly three years away. I haven't been through a good snowstorm since I left Earlham, and it's just so beautiful! Completely worth the cold. I just wish Leah and the dogs were here to enjoy it. Even the cats would probably like it better than the rain rain rain. I have spent time ( Read more... )

Snow: you make it sound beautiful. Maybe it's the leaving it for a while and then coming back... or maybe it's that I never much liked it to begin with. But you make it sound nice.
I'm glad the trip is turning out so well. There's something about that feeling of homecoming, especially when there's more than one home to come back to. Okay, done being sappy. (Well, not really; that's who I am.) Abrazos.

I think we should really find a job for you in Oregon. We have so many Spanish-speaking immigrants it seems like there should be SOMETHING good to do....Miss you lots!

I AM SO EXCITED THAT YOU ARE IN MAINE.
and also, that there is snow.
I wish that I could see you (since maine is geographically close to boston and all, its just actually close since I dont drive)!!!
enjoy your time HOME. (maine is a HOME kinda place I think. I miss it and I was just there for xmas).

it is totally a home kind of place, i totally agree. sorry I didn't think about coming down, I should have! my time here is just so short. maybe if leah and i move back here, it wouldn't be so hard to come say hi!

my love my love. we will end up back in maine soon enough, don't worry. and i am doing fine on my own, minus the whole being sick thing. blech. and that sucks whether you are here or not. i wish i could be there to enjoy the snow with you, too, but hey! i got to experience pouring hot water on the car and hoping the windows didn't explode, just to get to work on tuesday, as the entire car was enclosed in a sheet of ice! good times. i love you tons and am glad you are having a good time. see you sunday!

it's actually NOT so bad out here. just that one day. it was weird. then yesterday it was a little cold but so sunny! then today was icky again. :-P
