woohoo, I love oregon! "domestic partnerships" passed by house and senate, as well as an equality law...everyone celebrate!

So Leah and I finally broke down and took home one of the cats who has been at our store for over 8 months. Her name is Uke (yoo-kee) and she's a pretty tortoise shell who loves to talk talk talk! It will take Mouse and Mari a little while to get used to her, but they'll be fine after a while. She's such a neat cat. Yay!

ugh, rain and cold makes for a miserable day.

So it's finally winter in Oregon. We actually have a little snow on the ground (had a full four inches yesterday and the day before) and the temperature has dropped well below freezing. Yippie! It is so nice to have a break from the rain ( Read more... )

When I started working it every week. Sigh. At least it's my last day of week before the weekend.

So I have my bed back now. Yay! Marigold likes to sleep on this bed, so she likes being in my room again. Last night she was splayed out on her back, rubbing her head into the comforter.
