Monday night was the first happy hour with work people in some time, and Monday nights always mean Petite Abeille and half price Belgian beer all night. The bartender recognizes me, even though it was only the third time I'd been there in about five months

La Petite Abeille? Which one? This is a chain, isn't it? For example, I ate lunch in one such restaurant on 1st Ave and around 20th St. I presume this is not the one you go to :) For Belgian beers I frequent "Vol de Nuit", but I am also looking for other places with a good selection of drinks à la Chimay. Besides, it's a good occasion to get together sometime. I'll be in California next week but after that ... why not?
