darned if we know. :)

basically, we got in a car wreck about a month ago... literally 1 week later, this mess with him started. In the process we found out that he has an irregular heart beat and palpatations... which complicates things, but in and of themselves aren't all that uncommon. He's had a 30 day heart monitor... and (as of the last 2 days) had a 24 hour monitor... he's been to at least 2 cardiologists. we've ruled out a number of things... but still don't have a viable answer either. he's got pain in his chest, sometimes his hand/arm gets tingly, his hands get cold (which we think is due to his low resting heart rate, which again is fairly normal), and he feels like his heart skips a beat occassionally. it's just weird.

call me... I can outline this chronologically better over the phone than in writing. :)

yeah... he keeps trying. I'm not liking this... neither of you are allowed to die. not allowed!

we're hoping that the blood work and extra info from the Heart Hospital ER will help. Plus, now he has info from a 24hr monitor too. here's hoping!

You need to start packing books in the car to read while waiting, I can only imagine how much this is sucking for both of you right now. Any word on diagnosis or if the heart doctor has a clue yet?

normally, I have books in my car... the problem was... he had to take his car back in to the dealership, so he was in a loaner. I don't like leaving stuff in the loaner because I'm afraid I'll forget it in there when he turns it back in.

no diagnosis yet. He had visited his heart doc that morning... and we were planning on putting the 24hr monitor on him AFTER workout which we were on our way to when we detoured to the ER. So we put it on him when we got home... and he turns it in to the doc today. So, hopefully, we'll have more info after this week.

on the plus side, the Heart ER did a CT scan... made sure that his heart was functioning fine and that there were no blood clots. Apparently, blood clots are very common after car wrecks. And, of course, the test showed that Chris was perfectly fine. so... more waiting and dreaming up other solutions.
