and I don't get it. Its evocative, easy to read, not prone to the drippy angst of many would be writers. I like it. True it may not be Shakespeare but then who is?

I don't write well... not that I am trying to be a professional writer or anything. *shrugs*

my psychological take on me knocking my writing: I'm not really good at anything. most people have at least one thing they are really good at... I'm just decent at most things. and while that sounds like it would be more versatile, it is also a bit disheartening... cause I'm not really *good* at anything. then again, maybe it's because I know I could always be better. *shrugs*

Most people manage to be average at a few things barely. being good at something requires effort for everyone. Being really good at something requires quite a lot of dedication. The greats are a mixture of Dedication and natural talent
