I am happy with the way things turned out,
just sad that it ended.
my breath is lost in my chest
and my heart is on the floor.
so many interesting experiences;
so many unexpected twists;
so much work...
just to end abruptly.
I know something new awaits,
but the old has not yet left me completely.

well, I am home from ICC.
no plane crashes or anything.

a world of words
in scales of grey
fall softly into the sky.

the beauty of blindness
lost to us both
lusting after love.

the world seems different somehow today
and I don't know why.
a week passed within the course of two days
and I was catapulted five years down the road.
yet it seems so normal
like waking up each morning.
