Only ten minutes til Merlin and this made me so excited for it!

I love your take on what could happen. Love how you dealt with Morgause (I want Morgana to run off to the Druids...) and how you left it like they could on a cliffhanger.

I loved how you dealt with the G/A/L triangle and your characterisation of Gwen was perfect! <3

This.. EPIC!! I'm lost for words.. It's so amazing.. It could easily be the end of series 3 with both Merlin and Morgana leaving Camelot and new stories to tell in series 4. I'll say it again ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

I loved this line soo much:
“Well, Merlin, I see you have brought someone to meet me,” he said. “Arthur Pendragon... so small for so great a destiny...”

Arthur frowned at Merlin. “What?”

Merlin waved a hand. “He says stuff like that - ignore it,”

Fantastic ending to a truly epic story. I was a bit heartbroken by Merlin's banishment, but...truthfully, I can understand where Arthur is coming from. He's just discovered his beloved sister was a sorceress, who murdered his father, took his kingdom hostage and tried to kill him repeatedly. Finding out Merlin was a sorcerer was literally the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm sure (if you wrote a sequel), he'd see the error of his ways, but right now...the wounds are too raw

Yeah, when I came to the end and I decided that Merlin would tell Arthur the truth, it really couldn't end any other way. And funny you should mention sequel, because what would happen next (according to moi) is stuck in my head and I'll probably end up bowing to the plot bunny... But I think that if anything like this actually happened in the show - ie, if Arthur gave Merlin an ultimatum about lying - Merlin wouldn't tell him the truth; I don't think he ever will. I think that when Arthur finds out about Merlin's magic, it will be accidental. But it's my story and I'll write what I want to!! :P

WOW just WOW!! I had only realsied that you had posted the rest.

I completely loved this. I lvoed Arthur making Elyan, Lancelot and Gwianbe Knights. I loved that scene where Arthur tried to speak sense into Morgana. I loved how you handled the A/G/L triangle and the fact that Gwen was sad that she didn't get to tell Arthur that she loves him too. This is canon.

AND OMFG Arthur's reaction to Melrin telling him the truth was understandable yet soo sad.

And like I so want to see Arthur and Merlin riding the Great Dragon together that would be sooo cool.
