What's the proper etiquette for this? You write an e-mail asking a prof a grades question and they don't get back to you on it for nearly a month. Are you supposed to write a response? Acknowledge their response? What? I say, the year is over and I'm never gonna see this guy again--end correspondence. Am I right?

there are a lot of postsecrets this week (i think i counted 27) and one of them contains a murder confession. i had to read it twice for it to really stick to me.

The Pittsburgh Comicon experience was not entirely nightmare-ish. In fact, no part of it was nightmare-ish. There were parts that were rather boring, but other than that it was okay. I heard on NPR this morning that the 2016 Olympic games could be held in Chicago and everyone was rejoicing. I was happy, too, thinking that it wasn't too far down the road. But then I did the math without stopping to think, "hey, how far away is that?" and gasped. I'll be on the doorstep of 30 years of age in the year 2016. 30! Daaamn.
