approved for MA

did absolutely no good

won't backdate

won't cover my full bill for the surgery

now i'm a good 30 grand in debt with zero hope of insurance

what the hell good was living......... now i'm going to be struggling with this too?

*hugs* It's a problem that can be solved. There's still every point in living, since not living is pretty much the only insoluble problem.

I thought MA was supposed to backdate 3 months. Did I hear wrong, or is that only in specific circumstances, or what?

they informed me that they were unable to backdate it. everything is effective march 31st. that includes the surgery but it has a maximum of 10 grand covered. 30 grand is including this 10 grand coverage.

this is hitting me hard only because for once i was not worrying and having some manner of hope. it seems like every time i get that way something like this happens.

*hugs* I'm trying to find a way to say it that isn;t cheesy or preachy, but hope shouldn't have to exist only in the absence of problems. Hang on to it, fight for it - remember the joy and the wonder that you felt right after waking up (the morphine might have helped, but there was more to it than just that ( ... )
