I would do some further checking on this guy, if he was going to take money out of the bond money, sounds like he doesnt actually have it. Bond is supposed to be kept in a trust fund, and cant just be accessed like that.

All in all, his behavious sounds appallingly unprofessional. As far as breaking into the house, you have a right to charge him with breaking and entering. If a landlord wants to access the house for the purpose of showing someone through, he MUST give you 2 days written notice.

Definitely if things dont go your way in discussions tomorrow, i would politely end things and take the matter to the tenancies tribunal.

good luck

He has lodged the bond with the appropriate authorities, but when you fill out the bond claim form there is a section to write in the amount to be paid to the landlord...both agreeing that is. So basically, thats where he is talking about taking it from.

We had verbally agreed that he would call me BEFORE he shows anyone through the premises so that cancells out all other notice. However, he did not do this so he is still in the wrong.

And thank you...when i meet with him I will be standing my ground. I may look sweet and innocent but I do my homeowrk and generally are well aware of my rights, I'm not a good person to fuck with.

Thank you for your support!!!
