ok dont have time for full update but thought I should let you all know I go into hospital tomorrow to have 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed.

They are impacted and one is stuck in my jaw or something or other!

So yes shit scared!

Will update when I am with it enough to log on!

I don't even know why we have them to be honest - to grind up rocks or some crap from the dark ages? Appendics are the same.

There were at least 10 other people there yesterday having the same operation. You wake up with a mouth full of tampon-like gauze, and a pretty headband containing ice-packs.

More uncomfortable than anything!

I was actually scared about that! Heaps of people told me they might do that, but my actual jaw isn't sore so I dont think they did!

Worst thing is - I'm starving! It took me two hours to eat a bowl of jelly last night!

You'll be fine honey. Look on the bright side, you've only got 4 - I was born a freak and have 6! I will follow you shortly into hospital and have all six removed surgically.

Go in, get it done and then it's over and done with - they'll never grow back!! :-)

I was actually petrified but wasn't nearly as bad as I thought - just uncomfortable more than anything. I'll let you know once all the swelling comes out (two days after suregery i'm told).

Don't listen to the war stories - and buy some sort of protein drink and lots of jelly!
