OK I did a screen capture, to desktop, and then stuck it into post. I reckon error is at the screen cap stage, as I just tried to make an userpic, and there was no image pulled in. Sorry. Maybe I should wonder thru a screen caps page, I'm sure someone else have found it as well!

It's a .tiff !

If I double click on blank square, it takes me to blank image page, and then I click of top left-hand corner, and it opens.
