Being a student on such a liberal campus really gets to me at times, and this is one of those times. My classes and small groups seem to abound with liberals who have nothing better to do than talk about their liberal veiws. You know, there is a whole world that exists outside of politics, and for a single day, i'd like everyone to live in that

Ouch. I think we should refrain from grouping all liberals and all conservatives together and try to listen to one another without feeling the need to cram our beliefs down someone else's throat.

Too true. I just wish we could get all get along. I'm such an idealist at times. All I really want is an entire day where my political opinions don't need to come up on a conversation. That's all I want. Just a regular day, minus the political upset that I have been encountering all too frequently. I don't care that people have different views than I do- I respect that and think diversity is a positive thing. But why do people insist on bringing their political opinions into everyday conversations? Even Charlie Brown knows that it is taboo to discuss religion and politics in such mundane ways. I need to quit before my blood pressure rises...
