I'm very happy to hear you're getting back to photographing your days and nights. Simply knowing you can take a picture increases one's awareness of the surroundings. I find I see more even before I reach for my camera. It's a curious phenomenon.
The images looking through the windshield are very cool. The second one in particular is dramatic, conveying marvelously a giddy sense of immersion and vibrancy. Even if it is merely "spontaneous." ;^}
