This is my nursing story for adopt_a_mom, a community that pairs "experienced" moms with new moms who may need breastfeeding help. So feel free to skip this.:)
That sounds like a great community, and it was very informative reading your story. My cousin is due for her 1st next month and is planning to breastfeed. I just went to her breastfeeding class with her last week. I think I'll mention this community to her. :)
what a great story. i'm really proud that you stuck to your guns and kept trying in the begining when so many people just give it up when it gets difficult. and you are a stong woman who loves her child very much and the proof is what you do to make sure that he gets the best. i admire you for that. (and Megan too because of everything that she went through and continued to do what was best for Junior for as long as she did.)
keep up the good work mama, i'm rooting for you :)
I stumbled across you again and read this. It sounds like something that my mom would have written, or something she would have forwarded to other new La Leche League mothers! My mom is now a grandmother and is STILL working with La Leche League and going to conferences. She's an activist type that way, and she's also why I know why there's a button on your profile page saying that you boycott Nestle. It sounds like you might already be involved with LLL, but if not, you should look into it.

You know my reason behind that statement all too well, so I wont justify it and possibly upset anyone.
*hugs*
