Ash knew where he was. And sure, this may not have been his world, but that didn't mean he couldn't have fun, right? After all, he had his best buddy and partner, Pikachu with him, and that was all that mattered. His mother, Delia, would be something he missed, but if he had to delay his journey back to Pallet Town, then so be it! But this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. He could train here, and do many different things to become a Pokémon Master! Well, at the very least, it was something.
Giving a huge grin, he had two Pokémon out, his Infernape and Pikachu, both standing against each other in battle-mode, waiting for commands. Wiping his nose in the most shonen way possible, he knew what he would have to practice.
The next region he would go to was something that he didn't know, but he'd soon find out -- so he couldn't just be out of shape, right? "Infernape, use Flare Blitz, and Pikachu, try to dodge it with Quick Attack!" The fire monkey immediately did as it was told, cloaking itself in its own flames and quickly moving head-on to attack the electric rodent.
Pikachu was going to do Quick Attack, but by the look of Ash's serious face, the mouse understood that he was waiting for just the right moment --
"Now, Pikachu! Then Iron Tail!"
As soon as the two attacks clashed, the whole area in the air exploded in a cloud of smoke. Maybe this wasn't the best place to actually do some training, but it would have to do for now... of course, unless someone told him otherwise.
