[Canada gets off the train and frowns down at the pocketwatch. He picks up Kumajiro, who is trotting at his ankles, not wanting him to get lost in this strange place.]
I don't know what's going on, Kumari, but I really don't think I like it. This place is completely deserted...
[The bear looks up at him.]
Who?
I'm Canada! Your owner!
[Canada sighs, not

[Hey, she knows him. So what if he doesn't remember her, there's still a smile on this face for him.]
Matthew! This isn't a prank or anything, sorry. This is Ruby City.

Who?
[For once he agrees with his bear.]
I'm sorry, have we met? And Ruby City... I've never heard of that place before. Do you know what country we're in?
[He might have a shot at finding the local personification, maybe. But, at least this woman can see him, and she's smiling, so he smiles back, a little uncertainly.]

[The Keyblade Master shakes her head.]
Sorry, we're not in any one country. We're ind kind of a...
[How had Theta described it to other people?]
A pocket dimension or something.
[That sounded right.]
Basically, we're disconnected from every world. There are some countries here though, I live with Francis and Barclay.

I was here before? Why can't I remember it? And, er, sorry that I can't remember you, but can I ask your name?
[A pocket dimension? This was starting to sound like a sci-fi movie, as if the train reminding him of Inception hadn't been bad enough already...]
Oh, well, that's... kind of disturbing. Is there any reason we're all here?
[His eyes light up at the mention of France and Scotland.]
Really? Francis and Barclay are here? I haven't seen them in quite a while. Haven't had time to visit Paris or Edinburgh lately.

Canada; I see they have brought you here as well.

Austria! I never knew you could see me... Are there a lot of us here?
['As well' sounds somewhat ominous to him.]

Yes, there are several of us here. Do you need a place to stay or have you found suitable lodgings?

[It's nice to be so noticed for the moment. It won't last, but it's nice.]
Well, I'm going to France's house and then England's. I should be able to bunk with one of them until I find my own place. Thank you for asking, though.

[Well that's a surprise.]
You've come back then...
... and you don't seem to remember a thing... [Which might be for the best.]

Arthur?
[He didn't mistake me for Alfred for once?]
I've been talking to a woman named Aqua - I think she and I were friends before - and she said I was here before too. Is it normal for people to come back not remembering their time here?
Reply
It's happened from time to time. You were here before I was, then you left - yet here you are again. I might as well return the favor from last time...
Come on down to my house, I suppose. I can make some tea and scones if you'd like?

That's so strange...
Um, actually, I was talking to Aqua earlier - she seems very nice - and I promised I'd stop at her house, but I'm sure she won't mind if I only stay for a bit and then come to see you. I'm not really hungry, so you don't have to bother with scones, but tea would be nice.
[Francis and Barclay might, but Arthur's his family too, whatever they might think. Juggling his conflicted family ties is hardly a new trick to him, after all.]

[France is so happy. He's been worrying about you :T]

Papa! Bonjour!
[He frowns a little at France's words, though.]
Everyone says I was here before... I got directions to where you live from your housemate, Aqua. I'm heading that way now, but... Papa, can you tell me a little about when I was here before? I can't seem to remember, and I think maybe I should know.
[There's no one else he'd trust enough to ask, among the nations who seem to be here - except Scotland.]

Also, I'd like to hear some about what's happening back home. What year eez eet zere?

[It's all so weird, but he puts it aside for now. Except the part about what happened with him while he was here; that he wants to know.]
Wine? Is it that bad? I can't stay too late today because I promised Arthur I'd stop by his house too. And it's just after the holidays at home.

Mattie, you're here!

OH SCHEIßE, YOU'RE HERE!

Is it that bad here?
[He's pretty sure it's not because of him - Gilbert had sounded glad to see him, or maybe just wanted maple syrup.]

Well... what would you say if there was a zombie attack?
