It's okay. It wasn't long at all.

I'm thinking about sitting down and rereading the Wheel of Time series over Christmas break. I haven't been back to it in a while, and I got all the way up to A Knife In Winter (I think it's called. Haven't read it yet). Jordan's series was such an epic undertaking. He had such a story to tell! How can one man contain such a story! I sincerely hope that George RR Martin's Song runs as long as Jordan's Wheel is.

But seriously, I understand the frustration of wanting the next book/etc to come out. I'm chomping at the bit to read Diane Duane's latest wizard book and Mas Effect 2 is supposed to come out after my birthday. This doesn't mean, however, that fans have a right to place demands on authors/recording artists/whathaveyou. It's not like a vending machine, where you put in your money and get your tasty bag of creativity. It's not like fanfiction.
