So, I went to see 30 Days of Night with Eric and james last night. They both thought it was "all right" while I thought it was the best vampire movie I have ever seen in my life! Don't take my word for it though because if you have a specific view in your mind of how vampires should be, and this doesn't fit it, you aren't going to like it ( Read more... )

Well then, let's set a date because I so badly want to see it before it's out of theaters. Eric is so against The Yellow Submarine that he refuses to see it. Call and let me know what days work for you.

Exactly, pretty much everyone I saw it with was like "meh" and didn't like it because of how the commercials perceived it to be a horror movie. I loved it. I'm so glad they made that novel into a movie, it was really good.
The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the random scene of just them screaming at each other, it's more of a comedic relief than a scary look at vampires.

I don't think you'll ever find a very good werewolf movie.
Though Ginger snaps was a good little indie movie. Until they started making sequels and prequels.....

they made a mini game thing on the 30 days of night website. It's kind of agitating though. It kinda has resident Evil controls and stuff.
