Walked ON my lake today...

Not NEAR my lake, or on the trail beside my lake... took a stroll right across it. Well, about halfway across. That's when I lost the set of snowmobile tracks I was trying to follow and realized that with the snow falling so hard and the sky being white and the ground being white and the snow being about two feet deep, I probably didn't need to put ( Read more... )

EEEk. I do not know from snow. I think it snowed here once about 40 years ago, for five minutes. Stay warm!

BRRRR!! I sleep under about 7 quilts when the house is 70 degrees. I'd be an icicle where you are.

For the last two weeks it's been down around -20 degrees F at night. It gets through the walls and under the floors and around the windows and there's not much to be done about it.

It was pretty. In December. Now we're most of the way through February and none of it has gone anywhere and it's gotten rather tiresome!
