I loved this, seeing Clint's attitude change and how that affected the way he saw other people as well as himself. <3

I wanted there to be sort of a little story arc from the child still hoping for something better to the hopelessness of realizing no one would ever care to the resignation that this is just life, and then to the drive to make himself worthy of at least respect if nothing else, and then looking at Natasha and seeing all of the same things in her, the same spiral from hope to loss of hope to resignation to her fate and at least being good at the thing she'd become, and recognizing someone who wasn't ruined yet. And then, of course, she sees the same in him.

He's found his place now. And recognizing himself when he looked at Natasha was a realization that he wasn't the only one who had resigned themselves to being nothing but a weapon for people to point at each other... until the two of them decided to be something more.

So... now we know what they need and find/had found in each other. Tis so bloody good. You're the very great psychologist in all this, and can explain it all so well. Wowweeee. I wish others could write their people with such super backstories and make them ROUND and REAL.

Even your Thor is ... sorta chunky human and fun. Loving floating devices... I shan't see a balloon now and think of them like that!
