And it was beautiful! The unseasonably hot weather broke last night and today was delightfully spring-like... and of course tomorrow night we're back down into possible heavy FROST. Ugh. I love trilliums...

We had a random week of 80 degrees with crushing humidity, and now they're calling for snow tomorrow night. Typical.

The wild grapes are AMAZING. And that giant fallen tree -- what part of it or something else is on top of it, that part looks like maybe a direwolf. :)

I always love places where the grape vines have fallen down into these strange twisted piles like a wooden snake.

And that part at the top of the fallen dead tree is the stump of a big, thick branch that broke when it fell. That branch is bigger than me.

I think the first pic of the tree with the long stem of white flowers is probably chokecherry.

I am very fond of my ent... he is very old and I'd like to think he's very wise. And identifying some of those little, short-lasting spring flowers is tricky even with a good field guide...
