I wish my friends could come with me on walks! Honestly, though, I don't know what many things are, which is why I take so many pictures... pictures of the flowers, leaves, and anything else... and then I come home and try to identify them correctly. They are quite common around here. They have very oddly shaped leaves and those strange flowers. They are very primitive trees but you'd never know it because their leaves and flowers are fifty feet up in the air.

It's sort of my mission in life to find out what they all are. I didn't know, to start, except a few really easy ones, but there's almost never a walk where I don't find something I can come home and look up.
