It may not have pretty flowers ... but it does have its own beauty
Agreed! They look very lush, especially when fresh and healthy. I suppose later they're going to be more dusty, frayed and gnawed on.

I love the yellow lilies, too, and the views of the lake through trees. Awesome sunset! And eek! so many ants!

They do turn a bit yellow toward the end of the season, but not much seems to eat them or bother them... maybe it's the smell, although they are not toxic.

What wonderful photos! Oh, how refreshing for my eyes! Such a beauty - you lake is always beautiful. And more interesting things again!
I love the green colour and yes, I agree with your Honey that this skeleton looks like an illegal hunt...
This weed, henbit,is VERY invasive and it is a ubiquitus weed here. Fortunately it can be removed quite easily from the flowerbed!.-)
This peninsula was probably made only for you!

Henbit seems to be EVERYWHERE, no matter where... what's the word for it there?

Czech name of henbit is "hluchavka" - something like "a plant that is deaf".LOL
And hens really like it - I was watching them many times, almost everyone has hens here (not me though) and they just wander in the village and eat:-)
