I am with you, both on the caution and the fucking memes. Especially the fucking memes. Oh man I have harsh words for that shit. I started writing about it and got so angry I had to stop.

I have made it fairly far in my move and so far I think I've stayed healthy. All precautions being taken and hand sanitizer at every moment, but given multiple stops with loved ones and for gas and motels, it's a miracle. And I won't know for sure for a while.

But my mom is safe for the moment, physically. Her emotional and mental health aren't great, but we're doing all we can. My uncle is still holding on - not improving much, but not worsening either. I doubt I've done as much research as you into herd immunity, but I've done enough to know you're right.

These idiotic memes have me wanting to delete most of my social media. I have lost a lot of respect for people I know and it's just hard to keep my mouth shut. But it's not worth family drama or saying something that could be career prohibitive. I also was setting up an employee for coming back and now she's showing symptoms. She's the first person I have known personally to have it, but with all the going ons around here, she won't be the last. I'm trying not to worry. We can only do what we can do. But I will definitely be avoiding the upcoming family party....
