Well, it's been a while since I posted last. Life's been fairly busy between working two jobs, and I haven't really had the will to put anything down, paper or text, as a result ( Read more... )

Yeah, most insurance things will cover pre-existing conditions after you've been with them for some amount of time (at least the ones I've had any experience with).

Actually, I was told that federal law prohibits most insurance companies now from using the pre-existing condition bit at all, because way too many insurance policies were using that to deny medical treatment to people, and if it's not going to cover you, why pay for it in the first place?

Well, that's good. Then again, my experience with insurance extends to all of two jobs, so.. :D

Yep. I've been in the same boat for YEARS. Bad health and no insurance and thousands upon thousands of dollars of medical bills. Sucks, hardcore. *hugs* I'll be getting health insurance soon, too! Yay! ^_^
