My mum got called for jury duty but didn't do it cause she had a back-op when she was 19 and couldn't sit for that long. I'd do it... i'm imagining if (not that the chances of it happening are too high - but dismiss that thought k!) the three of us were all on jury duty for the same case

from what i can tell i'm 'left' and u two are 'right' ...
lol.. i get confused about what parties are what direction. i think the government should be an equal combination of the liberal and greens party. not that it'd actually work in practice.
liberal is right wing, greens is far left!!! dunno where labour is these days. *meant* to be left-er i *think*. Origionally they were the working class party for blue collar aussies with unions etc. i don't think you could combine the greens and the libs - their ideals are way too different from what i can tell. Labour could have been great but that hasn't happened. they're always reactive but never proactive they just whinge. and don't offer a better alternative. i did an essay on that last semester for politics. i got a High Disticntion overall for politics and i did none of the readings and went to 3-4 tuts tops. i love when that happens:) fluker

>>you know what's sad? we went to chapel st and chaddy and i spent nothing but i came back to geelong and brought stuff :| get me outta here!!!!! eek :-p
that's sad. you'll never get out of geelong. mwahaha.
i love the pm. even tho he may do some things that are a bit strange, life's hardly difficult for me at the moment. perhaps for people on minimum wage, but they can hardly expect a better life under any other government, they will always be the worst off. the economy is so much stronger under liberal than it was under labour, or ever would be under those brainless gits. and a strong economy helps everyone, which people seem to forget, and just whinge about everything else he does. and the get the troops out of iraq shit, we have hardly any troops there for a start, and most of them aren't involved in direct combat, most army engineers helping to rebuild, and trying to stop the attacks against iraqi civilians.
so really i think he's doing a good job, and people should give him a break.
