We're flying out of N.O. tomorrow to Florida to see J.B.'s best man (his cousin) get married. J.B.'s in the wedding, of course. We'll be gone all weekend ( Read more... )

Skip the pain pills and just take some motrin (up to 4 every 6 hours) and a few cocktails. Ice and elevation help too.

I've been taking a prescription strenth anti-inflamatory... and icing it... bleh... still hurts this morning.... still throbbing and swollen. I'm really not a weanie, but this bitch hurts! I shouldn't run into too many psychos... unless you count J.B.'s family! Just kidding... his family is awesome. Catch you later!

That's the thing about hurting your fingers or toes...all the nerve ending. It's gonna hurt like a bitch for a while. All you can do is refrain from punching people in the face for a month or so.

It's actually more swollen today than it has been since after I first hurt it. I have to go see a doctor tomorrow. Where the nail bed is, it is bubbling out. It's really gross. The whole nail is black now and it does hurt liek a bitch.

I'm gonna hate not being able to punch people in the face. Dammit. :)

Have fun this weekend! Watch that thumb and hope it gets better soon. Just stay away from Okala and another small town near it and you should be away from the psychos.

We managed to steer clear of the psychos... except for the family ones and they aren't goo bad. It was pretty fun. The thumb is still swollen, even more so than the day it happened. I have to go see a doctor tomorrow. Bleh!
