I have no idea what prompted me to actually do this. Maybe because it had questions I was actually willing to answer. I'm still working on writing up some of that other stuff, but in the meantime:
1. Elaborate on your default icon.
When I created my journal I wanted something that illustrated my new name, so I googled until I found a pretty rose at a florist's website somewhere and cropped it down and it's been there ever since.
2. What's your current relationship status?
Heh. Complicated?
3. Ever have a near-death experience?
No.
4. Name an obvious quality you have.
Curiosity.
5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
I don't know. It's a small snippet of something that just keeps repeating over and over - quite annoying really.
6. Name a celebrity you would marry.
I don't think I'd want to marry a celebrity. I've recently become enamored of Alton Brown, though. He can cook for me any time!
7. Who will cut and paste this first?
Nobody? Not many people actually read my journal. I'd be amused if lots of people did, though.
8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
Not really, although I used to get 'you look just like this girl I used to know' a LOT. I apparently have many doubles in the world.
9. Do you wear a watch? What kind?
I used to wear one all the time, but the battery died last year and I never got it replaced. It was very specific when I got it, though - analog with a gold face and a second hand but no actual numbers.
10. Do you have anything pierced?
Just my ears. Three holes total.
11. Do you have any tattoos?
Nope. Not that I haven't considered it.
12. Do you like pain?
No.
13. Do you like to shop?
Sometimes - it depends on the mood I'm in. Some days I enjoy browsing; other times I'm the 'go in and get what I want and get out' person.
14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
Pizza. And fast food earlier in the week. But not just for me! I was feeding swtalmnd and isidore13 too.
15. What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card?
Online purchases including gifts for faradheia and juice817 with personal stuff thrown in.
16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?

17. What is on your desktop background?
A colorful sort of abstract lines thingy. I hardly ever close enough windows to see my desktop so I usually don't bother with the fan stuff.
18. What is the background on your cell phone?
One of the boring default ones because I don't want to pay to download stuff and haven't figured out any other way to change it. I have a 'screensaver' on there that's a picture of my cat, though.
19. What was the last movie you watched?
Hee! Last night we watched 'The Transporter II' - because who doesn't love a cheesy, completely unrealistic action movie?
20. What was the last book you read?
Sadly, last night I finished 'Shakespeare's Trollop'. It's a very mediocre mainstream murder mystery that didn't take long to read and left me wondering why I bothered. Really, it's all swtalmnd's fault.
