its a pain to get into the kinda work I do.
I went to college for it, and out of the 1,000 kids that graduate each year, only 5 get hired right out of college.

but keep looking around. Im sure you can find some shit venue that needs help. Start with volunteering and then once you know your shit (about power and how many lights to put on the dimmer rack) then ask to get paid.
