in case you were wondering (and i kinda doubt you were, but what the hell) i'm still alive and functioning. although i've been too busy and too un-prosaic to write a decent entry lately. ah well. germany and london were fun, catching up with neil and leif and ronit was great, the food was surprisingly wonderful (i'm still drooling over that lamb ( Read more... )

I think it is very silly to say that people were not wondering, unless they have heard from you, being as how you went all around the world (well, sort of) and didn't say you had come back and also being as how you are Jill and people care about what Jill is up to. Just for the record.

Also, I hope that you enjoy the semester, and that everything works out (what is this about deans and food? haha)

Questions? How 'bout three favorite moments from trips in general during January?

oh the deans are being picky about my transfer classes and other silly stuff. they'll get over it. and smith food is just as *stellar* as i remembered-- and i'm bitter that more and more people are eating in my dining room, leaving less and less room for me. *sigh*

1- finally getting to the top of that damn mountain in phoenix. the view was cool.
2- cavorting all over london with neil. specifically, the night we went to see blue man group.
3- oddly, when i got back to the philly airport and saw a little tiny drug-sniffing beagle sliding all over the slick tile floor in his enthusiasm. too cute.

the better question is, what classes arent i taking? here goes:
-macro econ w/ randy bartlett
-american literature 1865-1914
-political thought of the 19th century
-womens medical issues
-gov seminar on political behavior

*sheesh* thats the list. my room is indeed very orangy and blue-y and otherwise colorful. just how i like it. i'm thinking i may need to up the sophistication factor a tad. i kinda feel like i'm living in a pre-school. how're you?
