Oh uterus, the cruel games you play are so amusing.
Last night I had another round of contractions that lasted a few hours then disapeared when I went to bed. Maybe my actual labor will be fast since my body seems to be doing the work slowly over time.

I might haul out the cohosh today.

The early labor stuff for a second baby is so frustrating. I remember doing it for what felt like forever. I do hope that things start to pick up soon. And yes, the second one will be much faster and seem a little less intense (at least until you hit transition).

You are right though....this prelabour should be doing a lot of the work and your actual labor may be easier because of it.

you're right, your uterus is getting a lot done
you might want to reconsider the cohoshes, your body is doing perfectly on it's own, and you might inadvertantly lose your natural rest period before the big event. At any rate, your baby is coming! no matter what, and soon!
