Out of curiousity, how much was your rail pass and how did you go about getting it? I'm considering on getting one for when I head up next month...
Isn't the aquarium quite cool? You should have rode the huge ferris wheel lol. Awww, I wish I was in Osaka now >_< we could have been cruising... You should check out Shinsaibashi, Namba for some pretty decent stores as well as cosplay central of Osaka ^_^
I bought the 2-week one, it was around 45,000 yen. And it's just so freaking convenient. I bought it through the travel agent that I got my plane ticket from, and they got for me from JTB travel (or somesuch...) If you go to the jr pass website it had a list of places you can buy it from.
I know! I saw the ferris wheel, and it looked like a lot of fun, but it was like 600 yen... Which is a biiiit much for a ferris wheel. I did go to Shinsaibashi, I got lost there for a few hours... In Amemura and the covered shopping streets. I know about the whole meeting thing... It seems I'm missing so much stuff by about exactly a month, it sucks.
