These are icons made from the Pauline Baynes illustrations of The Chronicles of Narnia. They're pretty experimental, and not fancy. Most are textless, with a few exceptions that have various quotes. I had the idea to make them while I was reflecting on the flood of icons that are from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, thanks to the new movie. ( Read more... )

Oooh I love these. Prolly won't use a bunch but would be interested in seeing them from all the books. And aww they are the illustrations in my copy of Nephew :). I'm taking #15 btw.

Feel free. I'm sorry to say that I didn't mark down the creator (a very bad habit of mine). I believe I found it over at fandom_icons.

this is so funny, because i had the EXACT same thought about the johnny-come-latelys & the influx of LWW movie icons - and i'm working on a bunch of my own as we speak! not limited to the vintage illustrations, but still, odd coincidence...not that there could ever be too many narnia icons in the world!
