This is the beginning of the process... Rather than doing the multi-process blonde thing, Katie's got about a third of my hair Atomic Pink (which fades to the light pink I want) and then I'm getting the rest done. Hoorah!

actually, it looks like i'll be at ballard full time now, so i won't really work with katie! i love the new salon, but there's some trade offs... i miss the other employees and their gorgeous clients. you must've come in right after my last day there.

I think that pink it probably better than my pink. I opted for cupcake pink. then I used a lot of conditioner to make it lighter. so mine started light. I do like it, I only put in a little, and mostly underneath other layers so it blended.

The main thing for me was that we were sort of just testing out how my hair would respond to the bleach and the color. We didn't go to hyperblondieplatinumwhoahelluhstraightouttafruits, so once it started to fade, Cupcake would look really yucky on my hair, and then if we did take my hair that light, light pink wouldn't have stuck for long 'cause there wouldn't be much to cling to... Originally the plan was to put Cupcake on the fading Atomic and then put Atomic on all the natch stuff, but we'll see; the dark is kind of starting to grow on me. But yeah, way the eff more fun and so not boring at all. Love it. And it's making me replace half my wardrobe with the cutest dresses imaginable. YAY!

And it's (almost) all because of you!!! You are my hair hero!!!
