Inspired by my new haircut, and the fact that fall's a-comin', and the fact that I have some awesometastic new over-the-knee boots, I've decided to go more mod for fall. I like the hippie Gunne Sax and moccasins thing, but it belongs mostly in summer. Not like I'm putting away all my hippie clothes, but this fall I think I'll mostly be wearing a- ( Read more... )

not to be all like "ooh fred meyer" (because it's not like I enjoy working there that much) but they actually have a pretty kickass shoe selection, especially like the mary-jane and other casual-but-not style shoes and stuff. yeah. :)

we should totaly go a shopping after the con and i have monies for something like that. 5 costumes still arent fully paid to me...

I LOVE that dress on the second shot! Would buy that one hands-down. A pity we're not having anything that passes for summer this year. :(

The weather's really that terrible this year? Is that all over Europe or just Germany? It does seem to be a little cooler this summer than it usually is here in Oregon. Actually, right now it looks like rain.

It's Germany, Switzerland, that corner of Europe, as I understood it. We're having so much rain and thunderstorms... there haven't been floods in the corner I live in, but farther to the south and to the east there has been flooding.

At this time of August, we'd normally have about 86 F - right now we barely make 66 and at night it can drop as far as 50. So that's everything but summer... :(

By contrast, southern Europe, like Greece, Spain and that region, have been experiencing a heat wave with 104 and more...

I could wear skirts on three or four days since the beginning of May... go figure. :(
