So, if anyone knows me, they know that I like a particular band hella, musically and well.. was personally. I had some issues on my mind concerning them, so I decided to message them via myspace. Even smaller no-name bands are becoming hollywood. Check it out here.

Hey guys, it's Jeff from VegasSKA.com dropping in to talk to ya'll about something important.
We've had an okay relationship in the past. I am definitely a huge fan of your music and thus I've done what I can in my power to make things happen for you all here in Vegas, because I think that you have what it takes. I remember when ya'll were thinking about breaking up.
Now, I know that you are good friends with GDB, which is totally cool.. but I feel like I get shafted as a promoter/fan because a few things. One thing is about mutual promotion, we spoke about this (at least I did with Derek and Justin). It really helps to have cross promotion, because it does benefit both parties. I've already established promotional material on my website, but I have yet to see anything happen on your website. Might seem petty, but everything helps and I am assured you guys understand that.
Another thing is just the lack of communication when you guys come here, I mean.. it would nice to hear from ya'll when you come in, so we can promote it. I hate having to hear from some third party regarding you playing here. It just seems a bit stand-offish.
Another thing is that I think that the relationship between me (VegasSka in general including other people who strive to promote your shows) is waning, I don't know how to really explain this one, but I'll try. It's like going up to the merch table and having no conversation, there is no emotion there except the usual small-talk. It just seems to me that I am in this for the music, and the bands who I enjoy immensely, I wish I create friendships, etc. I don't see it happening now.
I don't know if you understood what I was trying to get at, but it would be awesome to get a reply..

Ok, first of all we are glad you like our music, we have people like you all around the country in different cities that, just like you are a fan of our music and help promote us in your city ...(which is a big reason that helps keep us traveling and having succesful DIY tours)
next, your second paragraph doesnt make much sense...you say you feel like you get shafted as a promoter because we are friends with GDB? what the hell is that supposed to mean? if GDB calls us and says hey you wanna come play a show with us in vegas? than we say yeah and thats that ..we dont do anything else but put it on our myspace and go play the show. GDB seems to have a nice enough draw and weve just sorta won over their fans just like they have done over here with our fans...thats just the way it works. as far as our website goes..we dont even run it, matt from missing words records runs it...i guess if what you want is a link to your website on their then we will tell matt to put up a link on our links page. plus..nobody even goes to that website since myspace came up. does vegas ska have a myspace page? well if you do then ask us to be your firend and feel free to post whatever ads or promotion you want on our comments because god knows thats all anyone looks at.
lastly and probably most importantly is this whole thing about friendships. the three of us are extremelly friendly people and are thankful for everysingle person that comes out to see us play and we all try and talk to everyone and be friendly to everyone. it might have never occured to you but dont you think this could all be you? maybe its just the way you carry yourself and the way your personality is that it just doesnt make for any sort of conversation other than small talk. what you are doing especially in writing an email like this is doing nothing other than making us feel uncomfortable. the point is: if you like our music and want to help us, then help us ..thank you.....there are alot of kids out there just like you who do the same for us and we are thankful that they do but the only difference is that we dont get emails from them whining and complaining when we dont call them up, go out to dinner and talk about life and politics with them.
