Dilemas of no particular seriousness

I'm facing a dilema; do I change my LJ username? For £7 I can simply have my rudelypinioned name redirect to the new one, rather than it be deleted. However, I can't decide if I'm just creating the account just so I'm the owner of it, or if I really want it. But I don't just want to create another reserved, dead account. Hmmm

Why do you want to change your LJ name? Won't that just confuse people?

I really hate my LJ name, but I've had it so long that I think it's waaaaay too late to do anything about it.

I get fed up with account names really easily.. I have so many email addresses!

LJ redirects your old account name to the new one, plus nothing but the name changes.. so I guess it will only take a week of people going "huh?"! But now I'm leaning towards keeping this one.

^^^ Sounds so serious! I need real things to think about.
