In my brief absence from the virtual real world known as teh internets, I managed to not only miss the ticket allocation for HIGNFY but also the news of this in the first place! I quickly read part of my alarmingly growing flist, heard from nerdcakes and wallflowered that HIGNFY was back and quite literally shrieked "WHAT?!" Shall be relying on dvds of the episodes ( Read more... )

hignfy, back home, keele, dreams

Jeff Davis had killed Brad Sherwood and Chip Esten

Nooooooooo!!

Who would do such a thing?!

I've fallen so drastically in love with them all. I've been getting about 4 episodes a day. I'm halfway through S3 now... So much joy!

Oh yeah, and Greg Proops added me back on MySpace!!! He oozes sex and I love him.

My friend has some of his standup which he's bringing up with him. Hurrah!

Haha, I got added back on Greg's myspace too. *fangirly mode* I love him, I loooove him. I bought his tape cassettes and some Audible Proops shows and they rock. Did I mention I loooove him?

Am incredibly pleased for you that you have the Whose Line bug too. It's going to take over the world one day! :D

Seriously. He's amazing! It makes me upset how underused he is!

did I mention the oozing sex bit? Cos he does! Like my fit lecturer... Mmm... sex.

Of course, I'm still loyal to Ryan's fitness and Colin's awesomeness, and increasingly to Chip's hotness!

I'm glad to see you're settling in back home... But soon off again to university! I don't know, they grow up so fast *wipes tear* You know though I really admire you for having the guts to move away, and with people you don't know too... Even though I've hopefully got my direction in life sorted, I'm still here at home... I'm just fortunate that my old college is one of the top journo-media schools in the country - because if it hadn't have been, I'm not sure I'd have gone to another city to do it... Good on you! Hope that uni and the whole random person sharing works out well *nods ( ... )

I'm away to Uni scarily fast.. the irrational screamig my of my brain is mentally running around like a headless chicken crying "I'm not ready!". It's such a change, I've never lived anywhere other that Lancing/Worthing (which are next to each other!) so I can't even comprehend being four hours away in another area of the country! So I'm just going to remain calm and open and go with the flow. (haha, I wonder how long that'll last.. :p} I don't blame you for being reluctant to go elsewhere - you're amazingly lucky to be able to do what you want to do where you are! (Although I say that, I could have gone to Brighton Uni, but honestly I think moving away and being 'in the zone' is the only thing that's going to make me work. Plus it was all crazily spontaneous and last minute. Keele is the best for joint honours though! ... Babble :) ) But yes, you're lucky to get to stay where you are and save on renting; you can go to Uni and not have no worry about other responsibilities, yay!

But none as weird as yours ^_~ Can't say it would put ( ... )

True, but you have lived away from home before - and that's really brave *nods* I think so anyway... Where abouts is Keele anyway? (Colette shows her complete ignorance ^_^) Four hours away is some train journey... I'd feel so nervous about being where I don't know anyone... it was bad enough when nearly everyone else moved away... I am really lucky to have something like that on my doorstep - but I know that when it comes to getting a job, chances are I'll be offered something that's not here in Sheffield, whether it be five, fifty or five hundred miles away - I know I've got to make the move sometime... Mind you, Hallam Uni was local, and that was bollocks... Aaah, now look who's babbling on? *laughs*

HAHAHAHAHA! Dead Brad and Chip?? *worries* You're right, it is lovely to have a scary dream and wake up in your nice warm bed and realise that none of it is real! And to be able to put on Whose Line and say to yourself "Look, there they are, silly!". Lame, huh? :pWhat can I say? I'm a freak ^_~ Actually I read this really beautiful ( ... )

I know everybody's in the same boat when it comes to university... but I'd feel that they were all coping with it better than me *laughs* For me there's nothing quite like home... and if things are crap, you can come back to the family and friends and have a good old moan... But if you're alone... then you have no-one ;_; I know other people wouldn't have such a problem with that, but I'm not so sure I could handle it myself... Even I'll admit that I need to grow up a bit (not out of all my childish nonsense, heh) to just look after myself - my mum is so paranoid and she doesn't let me near the appliances at home ^_^ I need to learn!

Staffordshire, eh? That's not too far from me either in sunny Sheffield (pleasantly surprised to look upwards and find that Katemond lives here too!) Nice enough place, my uncle lives out that way... We shall have to meet up in Manchester for shopping and Comedy Store-age one day *jumps up and down*

You are so quotable. Ahaha! But no, without actually having read any necrofic (I made that up. I promise ( ... )

*shudders* I watched a lot of Brother Bear just to hear the few sentences that Greg says. Yes, I am obsessed.

Oh and was Thrash playing when Jeff killed them? He always seems at his most psychotic when he sings that. lol
That dream would have given me a panic attack.

Hahaha - I had the dvd on speeded-up so I didn't have to watch it... only to hear one word! Then my computer decided to die so I gave up. I watched TNBC soley to hear Greg though.. but that's not a bad thing :)

Jeff looks SCARY when he sings in Thrash style! Thankfully it was a pretty muted dream. But still, *scaredface*

Hiya, I know you don't know me and I know this is an old update but I was looking on google for Seymour the Fractal Cat and your entry came up. I caught a clip a little ago and can't find somewhere to download the 5 episodes. Do you have any idea where I can find them? I really need to find them now I've been reminded how fantastic it was! Sorry to come out of nowhere like this, but I've been trying all day and I'm getting a bit frantic!

Kay.
