I'm going to Uni in three days! Waking up early on Saturday morning and travelling four hours up to Keele with my Dad and Steven. Am mildly petrified, but you know what? I actually feel optimistic about this. I'm usually such a pessimist, so this is significant. I'm going to Uni to try and make something of myself! And get on HIGNFY. I can see the

Hmm... well, don't forget hairdryer and straighteners - I'd die without them personally... I've got hair like Alan Davies *laughs* I can't really think of anything else I'd take... except like all my little luxury things... You know, jewellery, perfumes, make-up and stuff... Got me thinking now ^_^

I'm replying to this from college computers, it feels weird doing this... Like someone's watching me... As if someone might pop out at any second and go AHA! I wonder what my lecturers would make of RyCol, GloveLove and the like...

Your hair is so lovely and straight! I did buy hairstraightners once but they didn't work very well and I refuse to spend loads on proper ones. I'm really a girly girl so I don't have makeup and much jewlery to take! My cosmetic bag is tiny! :p

It would be great if one of your lecturers saw and said "You're on Glovelove too?"! I'm slightly worried about the University filters and such picking up the fic I have saved in my documents folder!

Haha, you should get one of those novelty umbrella hats :p Well, go you cause you'd never guess it was naturally curly or even wavy! (Although with an afro you'd get free entry into Discothemed party nights!) My hair tends to flick up annoyingly if I keep putting it behind my ears.. It's so tempting just to chop it all off somedays! :p

Yay - convert her, convert her! You should teach an introductory course at uni! That really is cool, how you know people who will at least sit and listen to you talk about this stuff! There's bound to be some other slashers in Sheffield out there somewhere..

Oh and when we were flicking through the posts, she asked me about your icon. *feels famous* Ahh Chip.. if he isn't a great introduction to the fandom, who is? (Aside from ColinGregRyanetc) I'm downloading The Office US episode with him in it right now.. just out of curiousity :p

I downloaded the Rocky Horror Show today too! Which is a bit silly seeing as I bought it, but if I like it I can put it on my new harddrive and take it to Uni. *loves Demonoid.com* I shall have to buy a radio too to listen to Just A Minute, in case I can't download it!

As for Uni, a write up of completely trvial things will be sure to follow!

The only thing I'd suggest is taking lots of warm clothes- it's nowt like the tropical climes of t'South Coast oop north. And once you get there, stock up on long-lasting cheap foods like Pot Noodles because by the end of term (unless you're totally amazing with money) you'll almost certainly be skint. This is something I have learnt from bitter experience.

Also, guess who's got tickets to see HIGNFY? :=D Who's awesome? Why, I think it's me!

I have £600 in the bank, but that will soon dwindle once I decide to go and explore random things like the Manchester comedy store. I've bought a few jackets - but no coat! Strangely, I'm looking forward to the cold! It's been far too hot down here recently.

Gaah! *hits you* Only joking, that's great! It's such a mad and confusing rush to get tickets from the hattrick site, so congrats! I expect a full right up and a package holding Paul Merton's jumper/shoes/severed hand delivered to my Uni address. (again I joke, but.. don't feel like you don't have to take me seriously :p)
