I'm here!

So here I am; at Keele University. It's such a large campus! Living in the Hawthorn Halls, this means there is a half an hour or so walk into the main lecture-theatre area. But it's a pretty place, with modern new buildings mixed with picturesque old ones. And so green! Many of the new students from city areas were slightly fascinated that there ( Read more... )

Yay, good luck Red, hope you have fun! I admit I'd be scared stiff to be in a normal college environment with dorms and everything *skeert look*

Glad you found some fun though. BTW... I hope we're good enough friends that if you know Marsh is planning to bomb the US, you'll tell me to duck? ;)

I'm glad to hear that everything's alright there at university ^_^ and that you're settling in... I hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying my new course (I'm having a blast, couldn't be happier) and that it's everything you ever wanted it to be... Because even though it sucks when it doesn't, chances are that the whole thing's going to be a-okay for you *smiles* You've got Steven by your side... and Student Union Karaoke Night sounds awesome!

That Marsh fellow sounds... interesting... I always have trouble making friends, and I seem to attract weirdos as well... Maybe though if I'd been offered a glass of port at Hallam, I might have stayed... How distinguished *grins*

Hey! Dude! How goes it at Keele, eh?

That Marsh guy sounds like a nutjob. Stay far away!

Did you join any Societies, if so, which ones?? And which block at Hawthorns are you in??

You do remember me right....

Gah. I miss Keele so much! Me and my stoopid Study Abroad... although York is FAB.
But tell me everything!!

Hello! Keele is pretty cool! Hawthorns was at first annoyingly far away but now I quite like the walk! I haven't joined any societies (oops)! I'm in Block A, which is quite boring so I spend most of my time with my friends in Block F! Where were you when you lived here?

Study Abroad looks great though! I'm going to do the Study Abroad CSP thing just in case I want to go. What is York like?

I used to live in E Block! And a load of our guy friends lived in F.

You'll start up liking the walk then when it gets much colder you'll learn to dread it. Take my word!

York is REALLY great, its such a great Uni and a beautiful campus and so International. Its far far far superior to Keele but that doesn't make me stop missing Keele cos its home!

Which societies have you joined?
